Join a fabrication shop in Sanford as a Sheet Metal Fabricator supporting architectural components, and custom fabrication projects. This role reports to the Project Manager and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced, quality-focused team player with working construction knowledge. The position also supports general warehouse operations and provides an opportunity to progress toward a Lead Fabricator role.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate sheet metal for architectural components, and custom projects.
• Cut and shape metal using appropriate equipment and tools.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure accurate, high-quality work.
• Load and unload trailers safely.
• Move materials using a forklift.
• Assist with inventory and organize materials and workloads.
• Support general warehouse duties and maintain a clean, organized shop.

Required Qualifications

• Experience working with sheet metal.
• Working knowledge of construction.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to assist with fabrication, warehouse, and material-handling duties.
• Commitment to producing quality work.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication and metal cutting.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability.
