About the Role Our client is looking for a meticulous and organized Procurement Clerk to assist their procurement team remotely. This role primarily involves administrative support for purchasing activities, including processing purchase orders, maintaining supplier information, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will be adept at working independently, managing digital documentation, and ensuring the smooth flow of procurement-related administrative tasks from their home office. Key Responsibilities Process and track purchase orders using the company's procurement system. Maintain and update supplier databases with accurate contact and product information. Respond to supplier inquiries regarding order status, delivery, and payments. Assist in preparing and organizing procurement-related documentation for audits and reporting. Ensure all procurement transactions are accurately logged and filed electronically. Liaise with internal departments to verify order details and resolve minor administrative issues. Requirements Proven experience as a Procurement Clerk, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar data-entry focused role. Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data management. Excellent organizational skills and a high level of accuracy in data handling. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
